Timeline
2018
- July 1: The Indianapolis Wiffleball League was founded. Grady Hadar and Jake Fine were chosen as the co-commissioners of the league.
2019
- February 3: The Circle City Crusaders, the Hoosier State Hillcats, the Indy Ironmen, and the Naptown Nighthawks were all announced as the founding teams of the Indianapolis Wiffleball League.
- March 8: Circle City Wiffleball League provided us with a league logo, which has been in use to this day.
- March 16: The first video was uploaded onto the Indy Wiffle YouTube channel.
- June 3: The inaugural IWL Draft was held.
- June 15: Opening Day was postponed, due to inclement weather. The series between the Crusaders and the Hillcats was postponed.
- June 22: The first series in IWL history was played between the Ironmen and the Hillcats. The Hillcats beat the Ironmen, two games to one.
- June 23: The Hillcats played the Nighthawks, only for the series to be postponed until a later date, due to inclement weather. One game was completed, while the other two were revisited.
- July 3: The Nighthawks played the Ironmen. The Ironmen were able to win their first series, two games to one, after the recent signing of Will Borowski for the Ironmen.
- July 7: The Ironmen played the Crusaders. The Crusaders were able to win the series, with the help from the first woman in IWL History, Caroline Whaley.
- July 8: The Crusaders played the Hillcats. The Crusaders made history as the first team to sweep the series.
